What to Expect

  • Discussions of topics related to disability, disability justice, accessibility, ableism, audism, inclusion, exclusion and biases.

  • We use a mix of facilitation tools, including:

    • presentation style facilitation

    • movie clips

    • self-reflection exercises

    • group discussion

    • worksheets and interactive web-based collaboration tool

    • storytelling through facilitation and printed / audio letters addressed to you

    • post-its and flipchart activities

  • There will be two to three (2-3) breaks, however, attendees are encouraged to monitor and care for their needs through our time together.

  • Participants may be asked to move around in the space (optional).
